History and Amenities
Park City West has a wide variety of amenities to enjoy.
In 1973, Walt Neal and the developers of Park City East opened Park City West, a 385 site community located in rural Davie. At that time the clubhouse cost approximately $250,000 to build. The community was located on on a two lane road called SR 84.
In 2006, Equity Lifestyle Properties, (ELS) a publicly traded company purchased Park City West. Since the purchase, ELS has completed several upgrades including pavers around the pool, a tiki hut, new roofs and paint on all common area buildings.
Community Center
The community center was recently upgraded with new ceramic tile flooring and paint. The clubhouse is comprised of the management office, main hall, billard room, library, and kitchen.
Heated Swimming Pool
The heated swimming pool is a good place to work on your tan year round. New brick pavers were installed several years ago and 2 years ago the pool received a new marcite finish.
Tennis Court
Park City West features one tennis court located next to the clubhouse. If you need a partner just ask the management office to assist you with locating a tennis player in the community.
4 Shuffleboard Courts
The community features 4 shuffleboard courts located next to the clubhouse. Each year during the winter season residents put together a variety of events, including a shuffleboard tournament.
5 Petanque Courts
Always a favorite among the residents, the petanque courts see lots of action. Several tournaments are held during the winter season. Come out and enjoy the fun.
Billard Room
Rack them up in the billard room. The billard room also doubles as an exercise room with treadmills and other exercise equipment.
Library
The library features both english and french languages. Books are loaned out on the honor system. If you have books to donate please drop them off in the library and someone will place them on shelves for you.
Exercise Room
The exercise room, also located in the billard room features 2 treadmill and a variety of other exercise equipment.
